In January of 2382, the Achilles found itself reassigned from the Full Circle Fleet, after the fleet successfully proved to Starfleet Command the mission to the Delta Quadrant was still viable. It had transported any detectable survivor onto the ship before the signals had degraded.
( VOY novel: Unworthy)ĭuring August of the same year, the Achilles took on the survivors from the Omega Continuum crisis and returned them to the Alpha Quadrant. The vessel met up with the rest of the fleet in the Delta Quadrant after making contact with Starfleet Command. The Achilles started to lay down subspace relay stations along the route to the Delta Quadrant. ( VOY novel: Full Circle) The Achilles went on a test flight with the Full Circle Fleet to Deneva. The Achilles was tasked with holding spare parts and equipped with industrial replicators which would be used by the whole fleet.
In 2381, the Achilles was refitted with a quantum slipstream drive and assigned to Project Full Circle, a Starfleet expeditionary force into the Delta Quadrant, under the command of Commander Tillum Drafar. The USS Achilles was a Federation Mulciber-class starship in service to Starfleet in the 24th century.
